Dr. Nathaniel Lim grew up in California.  Dr. Lim went to University of California, Los Angeles for undergraduate studies in biology and graduated from Northwestern University Dental School in 2000.  While in Northwestern University, Dr. Lim volunteered every Saturday to the Donna Olsen Saturday Children's People Clinic for four years.  This program provides free dental work to less fortunate children.

After Northwestern University Dental School, Dr. Lim continued to advance his dental knowledge and techniques through The Dawson Center.  Dr. Lim has been personally trained by Dr. Peter Dawson, who is known in the dental community as the "father of occlusion" (bite) and jaw analysis and treatment.  Dr. Lim now has certification from The Dawson Center. 

Dr. Lim is pursuing further education through Seattle Institute for Advanced Dental Education with Dr. Frank Spears.  The Seattle Institute for Advanced Dental Education emphasizes on comprehensive and cosmetic analysis and treatment of various challenging dental conditions.
